Riedingtal

The Riedingtal in Zederhaus is one of the particularly beautiful natural jewels in Salzburger Lungau. At the entrance to the Riedingtal, you are immediately surprised by an impressive view of the Schlierersee and the Riedingspitze. The Riedingtal itself offers a variety of hiking options for every target group. An innovative nature park house, themed trails and the Brünwandquellen viewing platform natural monument or guided adventure hikes complete the nature park’s offer. A valley bus service also offers people with limited mobility the opportunity to explore the valley during the main holiday season.
Silent Night Museum

In 1816, Joseph Mohr wrote the lyrics to the world-famous Christmas carol ‘Silent Night! Holy Night!’. The altarpiece of the Pilgrimage and Silent Night Basilica in Mariapfarr with its depiction of the Holy Family may have inspired him to write his poem. The museum shows the theme of ‘Pilgrimage’ and the connection to ‘Silent Night’ in various facets.
Großeck / Speiereck

In summer, we also highly recommend a gondola ride on the Großeck / Speiereck adventure mountain followed by a hike to the summit or a panoramic circular trail. The cable car takes you from the valley up to the mountain station in just a few minutes. In winter, the Großeck Speiereck is transformed into an adventure ski area with numerous downhill runs, a winter hiking trail and much more.

Nockalmstraße

The Nockalm Road is a Carinthian Alpine road that winds its way from Innerkrems to Ebene Reichenau in 52 hairpin bends and numerous curves. The pass road is easily passable by car, motorbike and bus and offers breathtaking views. Along the road, there are numerous free exhibitions to visit and catering facilities to enjoy.
