Horseback Riding

With its dry and sunny climate, the Lungau offers ideal riding conditions. At an elevation of around 1,000 m, you will be able to explore the enclosed Lungau basin (either on horseback or in a horse-drawn carriage), including its many side valleys and mountaintops - for riding fans, this is the ultimate nature experience.

Swimming

Badeinsel Tamsweg is one of the most modern aquatic centers in the entire province.  An indoor pool, competition pool with diving board, a children's paddling pool and an adventure pool with waterfall, bottom jets and the 80m-long Black Hole water slide - promising all kinds of fun in and around the water for everyone.  A beach volleyball court adds the perfect finishing touch.

The open-air pool in St. Michael also has a mini golf course.
Most of the Carinthian lakes are also less than an hour's drive away.

Popular New Sports

The Mur Bike Path is only 200m from our hotel, while the grounds next to the golf course are now the site of a fantastic inline skating course.  On the Mur River you can try your hand at rafting, canyoning, canoeing and kayaking.  Tennis, bowling, archery and small-caliber shooting are also some of your other options.
