Essentially right at our doorstep you will find the Lungau Golf Course - nestled amid the broad Murtal Valley. Although the course is completely flat, it is definitely anything but easy. Ponds, biotopes and even the River Mur, which you have to play across on two separate occasions, make the course quite tough. After a few lessons, beginning golfers are welcome to play the 9-hole compact course.

Beginning Golfers

In cooperation with the Johann Graimann Golf School. We offer numerous courses for beginners and more experienced golfers.

All courses conform with PGA, ÖGV, DGV guidelines and are taught exclusively by PGA of Austria instructors in German.  High-quality instruction that guarantees enjoyable golfing experiences.  Whether you are a rookie or a pro, you'll also get to work with computer-based video analysis!

Golf Sampler:
6 lessons incl. practice balls, clubs to borrow, driving range.

5-day beginners' course followed by course-qualifying examination:
This special 5-day course is ideal for beginning golfers.  The course teaches you the long game, chipping, pitching and putting, and includes a beginners' package (balls, tees, instructional materials), rules of the game and course-qualifying examination. Course card if standards are met (HCP - 54). 27 lessons, 30 minutes each.  Price includes 5 days of driving range fees, 5 days greens fees for the compact course, driving range balls during lessons and golf clubs for 5. Courses begin: Mondays at 10am.

3-day Beginners' Course:
The 3-day beginners' course is ideal for newcomers to the sport.  The course includes long game, chipping, pitching and putting, along with a beginners' package (balls, tees, instructional materials), rules of the game, 15 lessons, practice balls, clubs, driving range, 3x greens fees for the 9-hole course; beginners' package (balls, tees, instructional materials), rules of the game, course confirmation and 9-hole play in St. Michael; beginners' courses: 3 days of driving-range fees, 3-day play on the compact course, driving range balls during instruction, loan of clubs for 3 days.  You will receive a golf certificate at the end of the course.
