The Lungau's broad network of cross-country ski trails extends out for more than 200 km, reaching elevations as high as 1800 meters above sea level. 70 km of these have been specially tracked for skiers who use skating technique.  This unique setting in the south of Salzburg, at the foot and on the shoulders of the Tauern mountains, is one reason the Lungau boasts such reliable snow conditions.  The broad, sun-drenched valleys stretching out before our delighted eyes are wonderful, white and romantic.
